Building Backpacks, Building Community with Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community (sRPmic).

TEPCON Cares partnered with Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) to host a community-focused event centered on connection, support, and a little bit of fun at a local community center.

As part of the event, TEPCON Cares donated backpacks, school supplies, food, and volunteer support to help bring the day to life. Children were invited to personalize their backpacks by choosing the supplies they needed most, putting choice, dignity, and individuality at the center of the experience.

Families were encouraged to stay, enjoy food and drinks, play games, and spend time together, creating an atmosphere that was welcoming, relaxed, and rooted in community connection.
